16 x 12 Oil on Baltic Birch Inspired by a plein air painting excursion to the Drumheller, Alberta, area in June 2015, this image still gives me a feeling of near vertigo due to the expanse of the landscape. Standing on the edge of the canyon, thinking about millions of years in its formation and what dinosaur giants roamed these lands - it's an unforgettable experience.
